Diwali is the most awaited festival of children and elders to burst cracker’s .
Diwali symbolises the victory of good over evil . In Sanskrit it’s also known as Dipawali which means row of lights .
Diwali is celebrated after 20 days of Ram killing Rawana which is celebrated as (Dussehra ) when Rama rescued Sita from Lanka.
The celebration of Diwali is done as it marks the return of Rama from the forest after 14 years of exile . This festival was celebrated in their city by lightning lamps and decorating their city and this was recognised as festival of lights ( Dipawali ) .
The five days festival Starts with Dhanteras on the first days which is a auspices day to buy jewellery , Gold etc . It said that this day welcomes good luck , wealth and prosperity in life . Dhanteras is followed by Chhoti Diwali , Govardhan Pooja and finally Bhai Dhooj marks end of this festival
